NYECBO is happy to be part of a 5days workshop convened by The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET Secretariat) in Nairobi. The workshop will focus on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights policy Evidence and Impact Based advocacy and Opposition Monitoring and mitigation.

Day one topic: Connecting Data and evidence with Advocacy Action on Gender Equality. It was discussed that data refers to a collection of facts, statics, or information that can be in the form of numbers, images or any other format. The reason why data is needed in advocacy was to expose injustice & inequality, help to identify the gaps and in policy development, help to understand the issues at hand and it helps in evaluation and monitoring.
