Hello folks, let’s have a real talk about a serious issue that’s affecting our young people in Kenya. You see, restricted abortion is a major problem that’s causing a lot of harm, especially to our adolescents and young adults aged between 15-18. It’s a sad fact, but this is one of the leading causes of death for this age group. Now, I know this is a touchy subject for many, but we can’t just bury our heads in the sand and pretend it’s not happening, right?

We need to face the reality and address this issue head-on. It’s high time we started having open and honest conversations about sexual reproductive health and rights. We need to educate our young people about safe sex, contraception, and their rights. This way, they can make informed decisions about their bodies and their lives. And most importantly, we need to push for reforms to make abortion safe and legal, because no one should have to risk their life due to lack of access to safe healthcare services. Let’s break the silence and start having these important conversations.
